Vacuum and Temperature Monitor Unit
The Monitor Unit contains a Vacuum Gauge Controller and 2 Digital Temperature Panel Meters.

There is an optical meter relay interlock on the Vacuum Gauge Controller and there is an over temperature relay interlock on one of the two Digital Temperature Panel Meters.

The relay interlocks are series connected to provide a continuity signal to the Power Control Unit
when the vacuum and temperature are both below their respective setpoint values.
Front Panel and Interior of the Monitor Unit
Mounted on the hinged front panel cover are the Vacuum Gauge Controller and two Digital Temperature Panel Meters.  The panel also contains power switches for the vacuum and temperature gauges with on/off indicating lamps .  There is a vacuum interlock bypass switch for testing without vacuum.
Side Views of the Monitor Unit
The left side contains a male power inlet plug and access port for the cable with connector to the TC vacuum gauge tube and thermocouple extension cables to the Type "S" thermocouples in the vacuum chamber.  Shown is a Type "S" thermocouple probe for testing purposes.  The TC cable connectors would be connected to a dual TC vacuum feedthrough on the vacuum chamber port.

The right side contains a convenience 115VAC outlet receptacle and interlock outputs (via a banana plug cable shown) to the Power Control Unit.
